Set your goals

There is a lot of talk about objectives, for your company, for your investments, for your teams. The same goes for your communication. For it to be effective, you need to know what interests it should serve, what are the expected results, in order to adapt the means to achieve them.


Each social network is different and follows its own logic. For example, Facebook doesn't work the same way as LinkedIn, or even TikTok or Instagram.


From these objectives will come a marketing strategy and you can rely on certain methods, including the SMART method (the objective must be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely), to develop it.

Clearly define your target

The second pillar of your communication strategy is defining your target. When you decide to address an audience, it is important that this message is received and heard. For your efforts to pay off, you need to know exactly what your audience or community wants and expects.


Using social networks does not mean using ALL social networks. It's not. Choose the right channel and adapt your style. Sending the right message, to the right person at the right time, is the key to your communication success!

You have defined your objectives and you know your target well, it's time to set up an editorial routine to serve your business. With the idea of not moving forward with a wet finger, Notion or Trello are interesting tools to :


write down your ideas ;

plan your publications

create your visuals;

write your content.


Publish content regularly on social networks

Let's get to the heart of the matter: publishing content. Depending on the algorithm of each social network, the frequency of posts varies for relevant visibility.


For example, on Instagram posts have an extremely short life span. It is therefore necessary to publish several times a week. On the other hand, on LinkedIn, two weekly posts may be sufficient. These are only examples since your strategy is your own, but it gives an idea of how they work.


It is, on the other hand, obvious that an almost ghostly presence will not give any results.


Keep your community alive

Often, the algorithm highlights your post and observes what happens in the first hours. The more you respond to comments and exchange quickly with network members, the more your post will be highlighted.


Without giving in to the algorithmic law, take the time to discuss with those who have shown interest in your post. Imagine the impression you leave if you post and then it's radio silence!
